In a display of spiritual leadership and inspiration, Pastor
Samuel Iruolor, President of the Port Harcourt East Conference of Seventh-day
Adventist Church, led a worship visitation to the heart of Port Harcourt City
Centre District on Saturday 6 April 2024.
The program, held at Stadium Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, drew officers of the conference
and the entire membership of the District eager to partake in a day of acquaintance,
fellowship and spiritual rejuvenation. During the divine service, Pastor Iruolor took to the pulpit to deliver a
powerful message titled "Victory is Sure."
With unwavering conviction and a deep reverence for the Word of
God, Pastor Iruolor captivated the audience with his sermon. Drawing from
biblical teachings and personal anecdotes, he spoke of the assurance of victory
that believers can find in their faith.
Drawing
from biblical passages, Pastor Iruolor reminded the congregation of the promise
found in 1 Corinthians 15:57, "But thanks be to God! He gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." He emphasized that this victory
was not contingent upon human strength or capabilities but was secured through
the power of God manifested in Jesus Christ.
"Even
in the face of adversity and uncertainty, we can rest assured that victory
belongs to those who place their trust in God," declared Pastor Iruolor.
"Our journey may be filled with challenges, but through faith and
perseverance, we can overcome every obstacle that stands in our way."
Throughout
his sermon, Pastor Iruolor encouraged attendees to hold fast to their faith,
even in the face of adversity. He reassured them that God is a God of miracles
and breakthroughs, capable of turning trials into triumphs and setbacks into
comebacks.
The congregation responded with fervent affirmation, nodding in
agreement and offering vocal expressions of praise throughout the service. Many
were moved in their spirit as the preacher man spoke of the transformative power of faith and the unwavering love of
God.
The
sermon left a lasting impact on the entire worshippers, with many expressing
gratitude for the timely message of hope and encouragement. As attendees filed
out of the stadium, there was a palpable sense of optimism and faith in the
air, a testament to the transformative power of Pastor Iruolor's words.
After
the worship, the president, Pastor Samuel Iruolor, held an interactive session
where the administration's vision was shared with the entire district.
Pastor
Iruolor began by expressing gratitude for the opportunity to have been elected
alongside his officers, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration
in achieving their shared goals. He then proceeded to outline the
administration's vision, which centered on deepening spiritual growth,
strengthening community outreach, and fostering a culture of inclusivity within
the district.
The
interactive session provided attendees with the opportunity to ask questions,
offer feedback, and share their own insights and ideas for advancing the church mission.
Pastor Iruolor and his team listened attentively, taking notes and engaging in
meaningful dialogue with the congregation.
