PULPIT EXCHANGE EVANGELISM: PASTOR IROULOR COMMENDS THE EFFORT OF PREACHERS/EVANGELISTS

By Ekpor Temple

Pastor Samuel E. Iroulor, the President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Port Harcourt East Conference, has expressed his satisfaction with the work being done by our field ministers, (clergies and lay evangelists) as we continue the "Harvest 2025" pulpit exchange evangelism series.

This weekend marks the conclusion of the evangelistic campaign in certain centers with the theme "AMAZING LOVE," while it is still in its first week in others. The campaign began on March 2, 2024.

In a chat with the media department at the secretariat, He appreciated the good works reported from the fields and encouraged the ministers not to be perturbed or unsettled as the Conference administration is doing all in her power to alleviate some of the malaise faced in the field.

"I want to congratulate the effort displayed by our ministers in the ongoing pulpit exchange evangelism.

"So far, we are making progress, and I urge all to be steadfast to the call irrespective of the challenge we are facing as we shall respond soon to some of the demands," he avers.

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, the President launched his own evangelistic campaign at the All Siant Model Primary School grounds in Rumuokurusi. He also provided numerical examples of efforts from churches, and organizational frameworks to guarantee the smooth success of the mission work.

He challenged members to emulate Jesus' parable of the sower and work fervently in tandem with the preachers to gain souls for heaven.

“Let me also applaud the zeal and passion shown by many of our district and churches in Port Harcourt, Etche and Okirika.

The report we have received is such an encouraging one and we hope that members will strongly work with them to win lost souls to heaven. He orates.

In his projection, he hoped that the church in the Port Harcourt East territory would yield a bountiful harvest that would add to the manpower strength of our churches.
