As the year 2022 draws to an end, the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) Executive committee leadership as usual converged at the ENUC headquarters at Udeagbala Road Osisioma in Aba for the ENUC Year-End Meeting holding from November 13-16, 2022; with the theme "I WILL GO Be His Witness".

In a special presentation delivered by Pastor Uzoma Nwosi- the Director, evangelism and global mission, christened “Mission Refocus”, the clergy gave a historic chronological perspective of the church in Nigeria, the sacrifices made by our pioneers and ways to adopt the new General Conference (GC) initiative on mission refocus-how to win more souls, on nurturing and membership retention.

According to the cleric, The Adventist Mission flame was lit more than 150 years ago in hand full of small towns and villages in North-East America.  Soon that flame was spreading around the world. But it only happened because dedicated Adventists looked beyond their own needs to a world in need.

Many of these missionaries gave their lives for the salvation of others.  They never came back to their homes.  Seventh-day Adventist Church was founded on sacrifice! It grew from sacrifice, and it will only continue to grow through sacrifice!

“The selfless sacrifice of those believe that this Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached to all the world as a witness to all nations - Pastor Nwosi Heralds.
