Pastor Onyebuchi Thomas Opara ENUC Executive Secretary |

A new Executive
Secretary has emerged at the year –end executive meeting of the ENUC at the
church seat of power in Aba. Pastor Onyebuchi Thomas Opara was this
afternoon elected by a nominating committee set up during the ongoing year end
meeting alongside the West Central Africa Division (WAD) officers who
supervised the smooth election process.
Before His nomination and appointment, Pastor Onyebuchi
Thomas Okpara was the President of Aba East Conference (AEC). And will work
with the current leadership of Pastor Prof. Bassey E.O Udoh till the end of
this administration come 2024.
He replaces late Pastor Moses Njoku whose demise occurred in the line of duty in the current administration. Also elected were the four mission fields’ officers in the
union. They are as follows:
Officers for Bayelsa Mission
1. Pastor Obioma Sunday Ohia -President (BAM)
2. Pastor Eze Robinson – Executive Secretary (BAM)
3. Elder Kelvin Ehiogu Treasurer- (BAM)
Officers for Anambra Mission
1. Pastor Obinna Akubude – President (ANAM)
2. Pastor Isaiah Alozie –Executive Secretary
(ANAM)
3. Elder Clifford Ohuonu I. -Treasurer (ANAM)
Officers for Aba West Mission
1. Pastor Okechukwu H. Ekeke –President (AWEM)
2. Pastor Obinna Onina – Executive Secretary
(AWEM)
3. Dr/Mrs. Ihuoma Williamson – Treasurer (AWEM)
Officers for Northern Cross-River Mission
1. Pastor Aja Francis –President (NCRM)
2. Pastor Moses odey, -Executive Secretary (NCRM)
3. Bro. Idazaobong Etokakpan –Treasurer (NCRM)
After the election and presentation, the WAD President, Pastor Prof. Robert Osie Bonsu consecrated for work immediatrely.
Meanwhile,
as the leaders
of Seventh-day Adventist Church Church continues to pray, discuss, evaluate and plan ahead for mission
and ministry, some members of the Executive
Committee has commended the Nominating Committee for the election of the new
ENUC Executive Secretary.
