The Treasurer of the West Central Africa Divisin (WAD), Eld. Markus Musa Dangana at dawn today demystified the “I
WILL GO” popular concept of the church.
In
a devotional on the last day of the ENUC year-end meeting in Aba, The Abijan
based church officer orates that the “”I
WILL GO” is reach the world strategic plan
of the world in this quinquennium
which offers something for the whole church—local churches,
missions, conferences, unions, divisions, the General Conference, and
institutions.
“It is very unfortunate that some members on daily basis say I will go without properly understanding where they are to go.
I
will go is an evangelical tool coined to help the Church be more focused and
effective in answering God’s call for us to witness to unreached people around
the world. And its value and impact will be determined as the Church works together via mission driven programme.
Elder
Dagana, drawing instances from John 15:16, Matth 28:19-21 said “We want to go to witness base on our own
terms and condition, which negates Jesus instruction in as written in Luke
chapter 10.
Whether
we are comfortable or not, the command is to go. When we obey God change will
be our potion. He said.
Like Paul said in
Rom 1: 14, “I have a duty to perform and a debt to pay both to Greeks and to barbarians the
cultured and the uncultured, both to the wise and to the foolish.
Can we say we are
indebted in Christ for all he has done for us, Can we be bold and not be
ashamed to preach the gospel, can we take up the mantle of grace and be
prepared to witness for god. He asked leaders to ponder on.
“The Gospel is
the power of salvation and only through the gospel mandate of going out to win
souls can our burden of sins be lifted from us…He Prodded.
He climaxed with
the assertion that Eastern Nigeria union Conference will next year be the
mission center of WAD and hopeful that the union will be ignited for Christ.
However, are we
ready to go and tell the good news of Jesus? Just think about it.
