10 DAYS OF PRAYER: HOW CHURCH MEMBERS RESPONDED AFTER DAY 1

 


It was an amazing prayer meeting across Adventist Churches in Port Harcourt Conference as the Annual Ten days of Prayer program began yesterday.


The annual 10 Days of Prayer program is part of the world church’s Revival and Reformation initiative in collaboration with General Conference Prayer Ministries. Under the theme ‘The three Angels call to Prayer’, focuses on the importance of prayer in building bridges between opposing persons. The experience is packaged to remind members that they are created in God’s image and he desires us to represent Him everywhere we go.


In Some centers in Port Harcourt Conference, report had it that members experienced amazing and incredible miracles and testimonies. The sick received their healing, troubled souls melted and the afflicted are made whole.

A-Media PHC in a chat with some of our members in ELIOZU church, Rumuodomaya District chorused how joyful they are to be part of this divine encounter.

 To the Glory of God, we are part of this year’s programe and today, we were made known how urgency prayer is in the lives of God's people. For me, the topic made a great impact in our lives tonight,  may the name of our God be praised in Jesus name Amen”.  Record shows that 21 members was present for program.

In Mgbouba Church, Rumueipirkom District, Stephen Grace, a Non-Adventist invited by a family said the program was well conducted and she had faith that her entreaties will be attended to by God.

Elder. Emmanuel Nwuzor, coordinated the programme in Mgbouba church and was pleased with the outcome of day one. “Well, as I look at the congregation, I see that the members are ready to hear and receive the blessings of the Lord. I feel the Holy spirit moving among God’s congregation tonight”.

The Communication Secretary of Rumueiprikom District, Elder Emeka Eziegbo pointed out how they drive the publicity across the churches in the district. He also suggested that the programme should be planned quarterly and indigenously seeing its spiritual impact.

Meanwhile, Former ENUC Women Ministries Director, Mrs. Comfort Abali in her elation said the ten days programe will truly revive members and expects that with the maximum attendance as seen yesterday, lives will be renewed and lost hopes restored and reignited.

Today, is the Day 2 and “the Everlasting Gospel and Prayer” will be treated. This year, the prayer chain holds from January 5-15, 2022.
