FACT: DESPITE TRIBULATIONS, ADVENTISM IN RUMUOKWACHI COMMUNITY BLAZES ON.

Cross Section of  the Nucleus Members

Rumuokwachi Church became the 96th on the list of Organized Churches in Port Harcourt Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. After several failed attempts, the action of the Church Board in a meeting held at Ozouba on 26th July 2020 set the seal towards the organization of Rumuokwachi Church which became a reality on 27th November 2021.

Those familiar with Church planting will attest that the years of nurturing are not hiccups free— these obstacles sometimes are capable of discouraging members same with Rumuokwachi with clearly understandable trajectories that nearly grounded mission work to a halt; but through it all the Church triumphed.

With mammoth congregation that graced the day's programme from all walks of life, Pastor Dr. Anyalebechi Nnunukwe, the President of Port Harcourt Conference, of Seventh-day Adventists whose administration has witnessed uncommon establishment of Churches within its spheres of authority spoke mildly to the teeming listeners in a spiritually alluring topic "Caste the Net on the Right Side".

The clergyman demonstrated the roaming hopeless situation of Christ's disciples in their fishing expedition as seen in John 21, which implies that everything that has to do with God has focus, purpose and directions and without Him, we can do nothing.

“Does Jesus see you when you are roaming hopelessly? Like the disciples in this text, we can't make it on our own. Our prayer is that Christ should stand by us. So, the disciples went without Jesus and they failed...what could have been their hope in the midst of Hopelessness if Jesus had not appeared?" He asserted.

Nnunukwe, in an emotional peroration charged members to have faith in the Lord and rely deeply on His promise of restoration.

Pertinently, Pastors Friday C. Orji, Ekezie Echendu, Henry O.O Tasie, Emmanuel N. Nweke, Charles J. Goodhead, amongst others were ministers God had used to nurture, strengthen, direct and champion the all-round development of Rumuokwachi Church from 2011 to date.
