Over the years, there had always been a remarkable event that
usually heralds the Xmas for me.
Well, Guess What! For 2021, after my participation at the
120-minutes Non-stop praise, with heart filled, soul melting and heart reviving
music, coupled with the dry sunny
Sabbath day of December 11, 2021, it dawned on me that the year-end festive
period is here with us.
Ministering at the Programme was Pastor Solomon Odiyebuchi
Okonu, who in a brief devotional encouraged the audience to look up to God like
David did in the midst of adversities.
He further expressed that praise and prayers can do the miracles.
The Brain child of the project, Elder Victor Omenazu, opined
that he was inspired by God since 2020 to create this project but was deterred
by the novel Corona Virus.
“Like I said sometime ago, I was inspired by God to organize
this program in 2020 precisely, but the incident of the global health pandemic
ensured we postponed it. But I was disturbed in the spirit to kick start it
this year, that was how we held the first edition in Choba and it was a success
all to the glory of God."
About the just concluded season two of the project, the
illustrious Cinematographer pointed out some strains that challenged the team,
but the success achieved proves they outstripped that of the previous edition.
“From the
inception of the 2nd edition, the weekend engagements of some of our member
nearly scuttled our aspiration. Our Joy is that we organized new set of choir
that ministered today.
“Our hope is to continue to improve this team to a point
where many will on their own choose to identify with us. It is a project
designed by God and we shall continue to make ourselves available as
instruments for His usage.
Elder Amaechi Onyekachi from Abuloma church also registered
his gaiety in the organization of the programme. “I am so happy to have
witnessed this music programme today. I Also, have indicated interest to be
part of the group and wish to encourage other members to join this moving
train."
The Youths who graced the music fiesta didn’t shy away from expressing their inestimable joy.
While we look forward to the season 3, where will it be hosted?....As the spirit leads, only time will tell.
