EYE WITNESS MIRACLE AT OMUHIECHI, ALUU

Miracles are at the very heart of the Christian tradition. Jesus, was a miracle worker. He healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water, cast out demons, turned water into wine, and so on. However, many Christians are heedless that there is power in the tongue, and their oral interactions has spiritual implications.

What a miracle! we saw during the Seventh-day Adventist church organization at Omuhiechi in Aluu on Saturday 20 November 2021. Just may be God saw the faithful acceptance of the divine pronouncement made by Pastor Ekezie Echendu, the congregation went on with the worship activities without getting bordered about the weather threats.

The weather was cloudy and no one could have believed that the heavens won’t drop showers of rain but the scripture prevailed—God’s will is in variance with that of man. Behold, in his infinite mercies, Jehovah decided to listen to the cry of the church; from the dark weather came sunlight that stood still till the programme was ended.

All this goes to show that God could make it rain if he wished to. But decided to demonstrate that we can pray out our miracle if we faithfully believe. If the rain could not be naturally explained by meteorological science, then it’s possible divine cause came into play. I was there, and that’s my opinion.

In his ministration, Pastor Ekezie Echendu the Executive Secretary, who represented the Port Harcourt Conference President (Pastor Dr. Anyalebechi Nnunukwe) admonished members to realign themselves with the spiritual words as seen in the scriptures.

In a sermon christened “At your word” The preacher explained that in times of uncertainties, heightened crimes, Immoralities, manhunting, ailing and crumbling economy, wickedness in the land, insecurity and kidnapping at gun point, we should crave and lean more on the inspired word (Bible).

He further elucidated that, just as every creation is a product of the prophetic pronouncement of God words, so everything about mankind is scheduled on prophecy.

“Interestingly, The Remnant Day church came through prophecy, the church did not exist base on human philosophy but thus saith the Lord.

“Everything about the church is prophetic, which aligns with the ministry of Ellen White.

Pastor Ekezie recited Luke 5:4-8 to show forth Gods divine power of speech in one of the miracles Jesus performed when he chooses his disciples. He unraveled that the reason why believers are not catching up with their life’s goal and aspirations is because they rely so much on their strengths, skills, tact and power to win life race.

“Your spiritual advancement and material possessions is a direct function of your accumulation of God’s word. The understanding of the scripture allows us believe less on our strengths and be divinely empowered to be resistant from demonic influences.

He therefore warned the congregation not to create leaky pockets for themselves. Rather strive towards purification of heart which attracts unexplainable blessings.

The cleric also encouraged members to tie the scriptures around their neck and shouldn’t be afraid, for He who is in them is a thousand-fold greater than the world and ever willing to release divine powers to all who seek him. He asserted.

Adventist Church members from within and outside the district graced the church organization which ended on a successful note.
