Workshop on Projection of easy worship, Streaming Live worship 

The second phase of Port Harcourt Conference Communication Ministries Workshop was successfully carried out on the 9 May 2021 at Omopo in Elele District.

You will recall earlier that the ministry held similar workshop for communication Secretaries and Team members in Port Harcourt zone on March 21 at Choba Central church.

Why these training?

As an avid thinker, I sat back and wondered the future of the church 20 years from now…may be you need to spend time in the same circle of thought. Just may be!

However, if you understand where the church is headed to, or if members must drive the church to achieve her mission on earth “soul winning” then you will agree with me that new strategies and policies must be learnt.

It is in furtherance of this mandate that the Port Harcourt conference Communication Ministries with her vision of “building Bridges of Hope” had made it a policy to strengthen our churches in areas of Information, communication and digital application of modern technologies.

Though the refresher workshop was planned for those in the communication ministries, concerned members of the church joined in the series.

What have we learnt?

Apparently, our burning desire is to change the chequered and primordial narrative and the perception of members of the society about the Seventh-day Adventist church especially in this part of the divide we hail from.

“Since practice they say make perfect, we adopted a blend of theoretical and practical strategies in this year’s workshop” the Director asseverated.

Speaking to A-Media PHC, one of the resource personnel Charles Nwuzor said...”These trainings help to rebuild our mind-set on how to relate with those in our milieu.

The Workshop features practical Courses like:

1.     1. Projection of easy worship, Streaming Live worship Facebook/YouTube/Zoom,

2.    2.  Opportunities of a well Public Address system (minimum Requirement of Sound engineering).

3.     3. Adventist Programme Planning, writing and Photographic Reporting.

4.     4. The Adventist church and Public Relation

5.    5.  Branding and Digital Identity.
