As the SWAN Henry Kalio Cup enters into the semi-final phase, Excel FM heartily wish to Congratulate all the Teams who battled through from their various groups to the Semi's.
It will be recalled that Excel FM Team Christened Excel Baller's Who many had already tipped favourite to lift this year SWAN cup were eliminated hours before their Last group encounter with NTA for rules violation.
Though Harsh and emotional melting decision from the organizing Committee, the Management of Excel FM after critical Inquests upheld the decision of the Organizers for purpose of fairness, posterity and love for the Round leather. This goes to proof that as a Station, Excel FM respect The rule of Law, and are willing to always partner with SWAN to jettison acts that will bring Disrepute to the beautiful game.
As a station, we have moved passed the emotional truma, and hope to start preparation for 2019 Edition.
It is in lieu of this, that we wish to specially appreciate our Head of Station (HOS) Mr. Paul Hutton's for his incorruptible potentials, magnanimity, moral attributes and strive for excellence. Sir we say a big thank you.
It is imperative to thank our players whose doggedness, ardent display and sacrifices had helped opened eyes of spectators to the Covert talents and skills inherent in our team and has Brought Excel FM to lime light for their good style of football, not forgetting an unbeaten record already set that will stand the test of time, regardless of the team been ousted from the Tournament.
To the Organizers of SWAN Cup 2018, we thank you all for the privilege of participating in this glamorous Competition, and the exciting conduct of the tournament so far.
Understanding, the essence of Hosting the SWAN CUP, we therefore call on our Fans, to come all out and support other teams in the semi's and Finals at Sharks Stadium on 11th and 12th December respectively, just so we all can climax the tournament in Grand Style.
For the Excel Baller's, we hope to Fly higher next year, even as we are coming to Reclaim our Mandate.
