| The Last 7 kids and their parents |

Rumoukwuta, the Headquarters of
the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Port Harcourt Conference was spiritually
set ablaze on Saturday 6 May 2023 courtesy of the ministration of children
between the ages of 6-12 years at the Maiden edition of the Children Preaching
Expo organized by the communication Ministries in Partnership with the Children
Ministries.
The preaching exercise geared
towards discovering and raising young preachers saw more than 100 children
across the church participated with 11 finalists who showed varieties of
preaching skills to seal their places in the grand finals to be staged later in
the year.
The eleven kids, impressed the judges (Dr.
Mrs. Chigeamezi Emejuru, Miss Mary Akpan, and Ekpor Temple, Director of
Communication and Media PHC) and
the ecstatic audience with their dynamic and sensational theological orations, thereby
earning themselves coveted golden scores.
The
list of the 7 finalists for this season includes:
1. Cherry
Moses – Choba District
2. John
Chigwushime Goodness – Rumuolumeni District
3. Daniel
Peter Dike – Rumuekini Group
4. Don-Philip
Baribefe Koate – PH District
5. Preach
Enemanna – Rumuokwurusi District
6. Ogwuafi
Awajiogo – PH Central District.
7. Chukwuma
Chimbuchi – Rumoukwuta District.
Four of the seven selected will be recipients of the award when
the ceremony comes up on November 26.
