President Nnunukwe presents Gift Literatures to the DPO |

The Administration of Port Harcourt conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer (D.P.O) – Kala Police Station at Rumueprikom on Monday, 22nd August, 2022.
Though
the delegation met the DPO ill, he was so pleased with the visit to his office,
as the two parties held varying discussions ranging from: security concerns
around the conference premises, creating a synergy between the Police and the
Adventist church within his territory and other important partnerships endeavors
were discussed at length.
The
head of the delegation, the president of Port Harcourt conference Pastor/Dr.
Anyalebechi Nnunukwe, thanked the effort of the Division in ensuring the safety
of lives and properties of the populace around the locale, and also articulated
how the church as an institution has over the years appreciated these unquantifiable
efforts.
Pastor
Nnunukwe on behalf of the church also requested for enhanced security of the conference
secretariat and its environ during the period of the construction of the
Rumoukwuta fly-over. He assured that Adventists are law abiding and people of
great repute who will continue to synergize and support the Police division discharging
their duties effectively.
In
his reaction, the DPO expressed gratitude to the church administration for
reaching out and also promise to partner with the church in regards to
sustainable security within the Rumoukwuta territory as requested.
The
Conference delegation which included the Executive Secretary Pastor Ekezie
Echendu, PARL Director –Eld. Engr. Beniah Ojum, Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries
Directors (ACM) Pastor Charles Goodhead and the Communication/media Director of
the church Ekpor Temple- presented Gift literatures to the Police Division and
also prayed for the restoration of the DPO.
