The President, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Port Harcourt Conference in Rivers State, Pastor, Dr. Anyalebechi Nnunukwe has congratulated Prof. Prince Chinedu Mmom, hours after the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, sworn him in as the Honourable Commissioner for Education. As well as four other commissioners into the cabinet.
Pastor Nnunukwe described his new appointment as a heavenly elevation for Hon Mmom and his family; who before his appointment was the Dean Faculty of Social Sciences in the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The dynamic clergy also counsel Prof. Mmom not to jettison Adventist morals that has aided his life strides and achievement. And also, encouraged him to meritoriously lend help to members in he area of human capital empowerment through his commission when the opportunity avails.
President Nnunukwe, thanked his Excellency Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike Esqr CON POS Africa, Mr. Quality Project etc, for the appointment which goes to prove that Adventist members are well-trained cum equipped to serve the State and nation with moral virtues, noting that Prof. Mmom's appointment is a clear example and well deserved.
He, therefore, prayed that the almighty God who through his grace and loving-kindness grant him the needed strength to uplift the standard of education that will yield visible change in Rivers State.
