By Ekpor Temple

The Coordinator of PENTECOST 2023 in the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference Bro. Azukoye Amadi on Saturday encouraged the Nucleus members of Radio Estate, the newest Branch Sabbath school  in Rumuiepirikom District, Port Harcourt Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church to be steadfast in the things of God.

Bro. Azukoye Amadi Ministering at Radio Estate.

In his ministration “Life of the Egyptians after the Red sea”, He analyzed the spiritual lessons from the children of Israelites.

“The children of Israel, beloved, faced many, many hardships as they traveled through the wilderness.  They were at first pursued by the Egyptians.  They were then troubled time and again by lack of food and water.”

“They faced daily the difficulties of living in and traveling through a hot and dry desert, and doing so as families, with children, women, and the elderly.

Many, many hardships – and all of them sent by God and used by Him to teach and to strengthen His people.”

Expressing ideas from the Bible Book of Joshua 1:8-9, the zealous layman enumerated the three lessons churches should learn from their deeds after God hoarded them through the challenges of the Red sea..

“Firstly, they conducted a Thanksgiving service. We should learn how be thankful to God when he (God) has done something good for us.

“Secondly, he averred that Challenges caused them to Murmur. Regardless of the situation, we shouldn’t complain against God , because his promises are sure and God isn't far away.”

“Thirdly, division of labor or Delegation is important for the growth of any church. This was the principle adopted by Moses.

The Astute Coordinator reiterated that since it's a privilege to work in God's vineyard, members should show commitment in service delivery and not to endanger it.

"A lot of the times we seat as church leaders and do not know that there is work to be done.

“There's work to be done, identify it and do it well.

Finally, He charge Radio Estate church to understand God’s will for the church.
