PENTECOST 2023: VOICE OVER TEAM DISPLAY TALENT IN MAIDEN MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

On Sunday June 21, saw young talented youths strolled into the headquarters of Port Harcourt Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church to be trained as voice over Artiste. These youths whose overwhelming zeal to work for God had their voices reshaped by erudite professionals within the Adventist biosphere, as  ENUC prepares for massive implementation of the Pentecost 2023 Project.

Speaking to Adventist Media Port Harcourt Conference (A-MEDIA PHC), the coordinator of the Voice over team in PHC, Eld. Victor Omenazor, whose penchant for media have earned the sobriquet ‘Stainless’, joyfully expressed happiness that the programme was a success.

“The Training today is geared towards helping our youths to be skilled in voice over artistry and we are actually working on Pentecost 2023 five Hundred video messages.

“These individuals you saw here today have volunteered to be trained, such that they will be pro-voice over artiste for the video production.

Though he reiterated his disappointment on the attendance, he however expressed fate that this training, if followed committedly will be of great benefit to the participants.

“We invited 29 persons for this training, but we had just 13 willing hearts. Yeah, I think they are happy, because we are not only focusing on the project, but it is our desire to make this a life time experience and gift where they will be empowered and can use it even in their professional lives.”

“This is not going to be the last training; we intend to invite them properly when the scripts are ready. He told A-Media PHC.”

Reacting further, One of the participant, Barrister, Emperor Kenjika Nnaoma renowned for his hilarious lifestyle and nickname ‘Legal Zaccheaus’ in the comedy industry was full of praises for the organizers of the Programme.

“I thank God for the opportunity and the gift of being part of the programme and more thanks to the organizers for granting us the avenue to learn, showcase, and build harness my talent.

“It is a beautiful idea that the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) has decided to put in modalities to actualize five Hundred (500) short evangelical videos to reach out to our society.

The legal Luminary explained in details to our correspondent how the event was structured and some new skills that kept him bemused.

“We learnt quite a number of things, how to speak well, good pronunciations, and boldness in stage presentations.

“Before now, I didn’t know that voice over has to do with the act, such that you will perform it and put yourself in the character.

He also enjoined those who are willing but couldn’t make it on the day to try grap this life time opportunity and be part of the programme at a subsequent time.
