PASTOR NNUNUKWE SHOWERS ENCOMIUM ON THREE ADVENTIST JUDGES

 

 


The President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Port Harcourt Conference, Pastor Anyalebechi Nnunukwe (Ph.D) has commended the three Adventist Judges (Hon. Justice I. P. C. Igwe, Hon. Justice C. Nwogu and Hon. Justice O. D. Gbasam), who were part of the visitation to the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Hon. Justice Simeon Amadi.

 

The August visit was held at the Chief Judged chambers on Friday 27 October, 2023 and also had the presence of two Adventist Magistrates His Worship Eld. V. Nwaeke (Director, Rivers State Multi-Door Court House) and U. V. Erekosima Esq, the Deputy Sheriff Mrs. E. Okerie, Secretary of NJC Rivers State, and other court administrative officers - R. Ogugua Esq., B. Vick-Jumbo Esq.

 

Pastor Nnunukwe, who was part of the visit in the company of other church leaders, Pr. Christopher Holland, the Speaker at the ongoing Hope Channel Evangelism, Pr. Uzoma Nwosi, Director, Eastern Nigeria Union Conference Evangelism, Eld. Abraham Bakari, Communication Director, West Central Africa Division Communication and the Executives of the Nigeria Association Adventist Lawyers Association Rivers State Chapter led by Eld. Sunny Igwe. Expressed his delight at the outpouring of praise for the state three Adventist judges from the Chief Judge.

 

“I am really proud of the way and manner in which the Chief Judge described the three Adventist Judges as men of principle, commitment, and trustworthiness. He said it excitedly.

 

The conference president appreciated the Chief Justice for being a friend to the church and for the opportunity to visit and interact with him, saying that these testimonials should encourage other members to be good ambassadors of the church in their places of employment and activities.

 

Meanwhile, the preacher at the ongoing Hope Channel evangelism, Pastor Christopher Holland, in his homily, encouraged the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Hon. Justice Simeon Amadi and members of the church that it is joyful for the Just to do justice and that the Lord loves justice and judges and officers of the court that love justice, as it is written in Micah 6:8.
