Ministers energized for mission after refresher Workshop

President Nnunukwe and Pastor Ekezie in a chat at the Workshop

In a quest to develop, equip and arm our clergies to aptly discharge their ecclesiastical duties in Port Harcourt Conference, Pastor/Dr. Anyalebechi Nnunukwe and his leadership team packaged a 72 hours refresher workshop for pioneers, license ministers, and others; which ended successfully on 6 May 2022  at the secretariat in Rumoukwuta.

In his closing declarations, Pastor, Dr. Nnunukwe, encouraged the Ministers to be avid, committed, and willing to learn so as to enhance ministerial assignment in Port Harcourt Conference.

Pastor Nnunukwe, also opined that the yield from this training cannot be equated, hence the need to have such rejuvenating course on a regular and quarterly basis.

Similarly, Mrs. Patience Emudianughe, the Children Ministries Director, stormed the platform with a breath-warming seminar christened "The Pastor and the Children Ministries."  In her chalk-talk, she appealed to the Ministers to create an enabling environment to carry the children along in their plans.

"Pastors should not see the children as nobody. She avers.

Other areas of the pastoral ministry well addressed includes Stewardship, emotional intelligence, pastoral workshop/practicum, (baptism, wedding, burial, communion service, and child dedication), church finance and personal finance, evangelism/soul-winning, Sabbath school, and personal ministry, etc.

In a related development, the Executive Secretary, Pastor Ekezie Echendu advised the Pastors to remain steadfast at their stations and do the work of the Ministry. Clearly cautioning that ministerial truancy shall no longer be tolerated from any field Pastor in the conference.

In a chat with A-media PHC, some of the clerics, candidly appreciate the opportunity granted them to be retrained in the effective discharge of their mission work.
