It is often read in the Scriptures how the Children of Isrealites celebrated the Feast of Tabernacle, an annual event always held to commune and express their gratitude to the Almighty God for protecting them against their enemies and providing manna on daily basis.
It is in lieu of maintaining this annual religious ritual that the Port Harcourt Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church, just concluded her 2019 Group A Camp meeting and to the glory of God Almighty, Pastor Vitalis Ebuzie on Saturday Baptized eight persons at Adventist Comprehensive high School (ACHS) Elele in Elele District.
Earlier, Pastor Joseph Ola in his sermonett during the Divine Service blessed and lifted the heart of members to heaven. In his sermon titled “Keep Holding On” with key text drawn from 1Samuel 12:22. the clergy uses real life tales in encouraging the congregation to hold on to God as the only solution to all challenges.
“Just hold on and see the glory of God. One of the greatest weapon of the devil is Doubt.
“Brethren, I charge you today to come challenge God. God will always fight your battle.
“After this constituency you will see the glory of God. All you wish to achieve is not hidden from him, just keep holding on”.
The Executive President of Port Harcourt Harcourt Pastor Anyalebechi Nnunukwe in an interview with with PHCMedia after the Sabbath worship averred that Pastor Ola’s Message was timely, inspiring and also a blessing to the entire membership of the Church in the conference.
“If you look at the situation we find ourselves today, you will see a lot of things happening around that can really discourage those who trust their faith in God.
“When these things happens sometimes we ask why, and it seems as if God do not exist anymore. Especially those whose circumstance that seems blurred in the eyes of humans.
“so the message is to invigorate us to believe that God is still with us and will never forsake us.
