SWAN HENRY KALIO CUP 2018: THE HYPE, EXPECTATIONS AND UPSETS.

Christened the Beautiful game, football no doubt is the only universal game that units races. No surprise why The great German player Franz Beckenbauer said it perfectly: “Football is one of the best means of communication. It is impartial, apolitical and universal. Football unites people around the world everyday. Young or old, players or fans, rich or poor. The game makes everyone equal, stirs the imagination, makes people happy and makes people sad.”

Football is a sport that is very easy to understand. The rules are simple. The game doesn’t have commercial breaks (aside from half time), and there aren’t many nuances to the way the game is played. It is either you win, Lose or Draw.
It is in lieu of this, that the Sport Writers Association of Nigeria Rivers State Chapter deemed it expedient to organize an annual Tournament that will showcase sports celebrities in all Media houses come together to showcase their Expertise in the field of play AKA "play the Talk".
This year, there are high expectations for Parent media houses like RSTV, DAAR Comm, Treasure FM ( Defending Champion), and CoolWazobiaInfo who parades the  celebrities like Akas Baba, Kofi Bartes, Chuma Nnoli, MVP Sawadhino, Carl Orakwe etc.
while the likes of Today FM, Correspondent Chapel, Wavefm, and Excelfm Are already talking tough, hoping to slaughter Giants in this year SWAN, Debutants like NTA,  and ClassicBeatNaijaFm, have already drawn their tactics and are sets to challenge for the title. 
With all the Hypes around contending Media Houses who from the 26th of November will battles 5 aside in Sharks Stadium for the prestigious SWAN Cup 2018. 
We can but fold our hands and stay glued to the last day to ascertain truly who will emerge as the 2018 Winner.
